ColorMimic Blog
The blog of ColorMimic, which turns an everyday photograph into five colors worth keeping. The photo stays in the browser until the reader chooses to publish; a palette can be downloaded as an image or shared as a public page whose link lasts 90 days and can be revoked sooner. Swatches can be locked while the rest are re-picked.
A five color palette from any photo, worked on one late-afternoon beach shot: give each color a job (dominant, support, light, dark, accent), pick spots instead of averaging, and check the five work together.
